Ashley has lived in the South End of Hagerstown for 2 years. She is a mother to her son, Drew, who attends the “amazing” Bester Elementary School. Ashley is not only a South End resident but is also employed at the best and oldest Deli around, “Locust Point Market,” also a staple of the South End. She is very proud of her recovery (7 years going strong!) and loves to attend events in the community as well as helping others in the community get connected to needed resources. In addition to serving as a Neighborhood Ambassador, Ashley also serves on the BCOH University of Maryland Research Advisory Group providing guidance and feedback on research practices and assessment of BCOH programs. She loves being outdoors and, in the winter, takes time to get to the slopes as she LOVES snowboarding. Ashley’s favorite thing about living in the South End community is “great neighbors (couldn’t ask for better!), walking distance to the pool, and the ability to play outside with my son.”
